The DMAS has its Directorate at Manali and has 8 centres spread all over Himachal Pradesh. 

The Directorate: Directorate is located at a distance of 2km from Manali on the left bank of Beas River. Having a scrolling campus of 90 Bighas at Aleo Bihal. It has spacious campus with administrative offices, a modern auditorium, lecture rooms, library, kitchen, dining hall and hostel accommodation for 300 and teenage accommodation for 250 participants. There is also fitnessn training area, meteorological observatory post. One tourist lodge and cafeteria is also coming up.
Activity: Mountaineering, High Altitude Trekking, Rock Climbing and Outbound Adventure Courses.

Winter Sports Centre, Solang (Manali): This Skiing centre is having two hostels with 100 beds capacity and rest house with five suits. There is 325 mtr long ski lift on the training slope.
Activity: Outbound Adventure and Snow Skiing Courses.

Regional Mountaineering Centre, Dharamshala (Kangra): It is located 70 kanals and the place is known as Swarag Ashram, situated above Mcleodganj. Its has a hostel with 100 beds capacity, kitchen, dining hall, office and stores.
Activity: Outbound Adventure Courses and Minor Mountaineering Expeditions.

Regional water Sports Centre, Pong Dam (Kangra): The centre was started in 1890 on 70 kanals land. It is located on the bank of  Pong Dam. There is a hostel with 100 beds capacity, kitchen, dining hall, office, stores, changing rooms and boat shed.
Activity: Water Sports Courses (Swimming, kayaking, Sailing, Rowing, Boating, Water Surfing, Skiing).

High Altitude Trekking cum Skiing Centre, Narkanda (Shimla): The centre was set up in 1987 in a rented building. There is a hostel with 40 beds capacity, kitchen, dining hall and stores.
Activity: Outbound Adventure and Skiing Courses.

Adventure Sports Centre, Hatkoti, Rohru (Shimla): It is located near famous Hatkoti temple at a distance of 10 km from Rohru. there is a hostel with 60 beds capacity, kitchen, dining hall, and store.
Activity: Outbound Adventure and Skiing Courses, Rafting and Kayaking.

Mountaineering Sub Centre, Jispa (Lahaul Spiti): The centre was opened at Jispa in 1979 and located about 30 km from Keylong on the road leading to Leh. This centre has hostel with 60 beds capacity and also having beautiful camping ground on the bank of Bhaga river.
Activity: Outbound Adventure, Skiing Courses, High Altitude Trekking.

Mountaineering Sub Centre, Bharmour (Chabma): The centre was setup in the year 1979. It has a hostel with 60 beds capacity, kitchen, dining hall, office, store.
Activity: Mountaineering, Skiing and Outbound Adventure.

Water Sports Centre, Bilaspur: It is located at Lohnu Ground, Bilaspur on the bank of Gobind Sagar Lake. the centre was started in 1977. There is a hostel with 100 beds capacity, kitchen, dining hall, office, stores and boat shed.
Activity: Water Sports Courses.
